    DENISE McCANCE
    Mrs. McCance has taught at Wheaton Warrenville South High School since 1998.  Her classes include: Sophomore PE, Health, RTE and Driver's Education.  Mrs. McCance received a B.S. degree in Physical Education from Northern Illinois University in 1991.  She received a M.S. degree from Western Illinois University in Administration and Supervision in 1998.  In 2005, Mrs. McCance was inducted in the NIU Hall of Fame with her 1989-90 Women's Basketball Team.  At WWS, she has coached volleyball, softball, basketball and badminton.  She currently coaches Girls' and Boys' JV Tennis.  Mrs. McCance was named Basketball Coach of the Year in 1996 by the Macomb Journal and in 1999 by the Illinois Basketball Coaching Association.  In softball, she was named Sectional Coach of the Year in 2007, by the Illinois Coaching Association. She previously taught and coached at Macomb High School and Westmont High School. She grew up in Schaumburg and attended J.B. Conant High School.  At Conant, she played three sports: tennis, basketball and softball.  Mrs. McCance (Lipnisky) was a 4 year tennis state qualifier, all conference and all area for both basketball and softball. As a senior at CHS, she was named female athlete of the year and "Ms. Hustle" by the Chicago Tribune.  She currently lives in Montgomery with her husband Dustin and four children: Dustin Jr, Ashley, Connor and Tyler.  Recently in 2019, her Health Team was recognized for receiving the Blue Ribbon Award from the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.
