Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year. I am truly excited to begin my fourth year at Lowell Elementary School. I would like to take some time to tell you something about myself. I have been in education for 22 years, 11 years as a teacher and 10 years as an administrator. I taught in various grades ranging from 1st-7th grade and was also a bilingual lead teacher coordinator. I am currently a Nationally Board Certified Teacher. I obtained my B.A. from Northeastern University and my M.Ed. in Educational Administration. I also obtained my second M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis. I completed my doctoral studies at the University of St. Francis in Educational Leadership.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Chicago and I live in Bolingbrook with my husband, two children (25 and 23), and our very hyper happy two dogs, Maltese and Pekingese. I am fluent in Spanish. My hobbies include scrapbooking, traveling, reading a good book, and cooking.
This will be a HAPPY year as we continue to strive for a normal academic year. I feel very fortunate to have a wonderful supportive community. I know these past couple of years have been challenging and unusual, but I am so grateful to have such a supportive staff and community during such different times. We are truly excited to welcome back our students. I am truly humbled by the opportunity to work with such an amazing staff and community. We look forward to a successful school year 2022-23 with you and prepare our students for a bright and amazing future.
