Ms. Lisa Volesky

Ms. Volesky joined the Wheaton North High School Science Department in 2018. Prior to joining the WN faculty, Ms. Volesky taught for 13 years in Chicago, Illinois.  Currently, Ms. Volesky is teaching AP Environmental Science and Biology, but has also taught chemistry. She also co-sponsors Science Club with Mr. Neuhaus.

Although Ms. Volesky currently lives in the western suburbs with her huband (Nik), sons (Max & Ryker), and dog (Gertie) she grew up on a farm in eastern Iowa. Having come from a small rural community and school with pride and tradition, the Wheaton culture, community, and people have made Ms. Volesky feel at home!  Outside the classroom, she enjoys exploring new places, spending time with my family, gardening, knitting, cooking, and hiking.
