Mrs. Taylor Wilson
I am a lifelong Wheaton resident. I attended Madison Elementary School, Edison Middle School and graduated from Wheaton Warrenville South High School in 2008. In high school, I played softball and was captain of the Varsity cheerleading squad, GO TIGERS!
For my undergrad, I attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI, where I earned my B.A. in Elementary Education and Speech Communication. After graduating, I worked for CUSD 200 as a substitute before I moved to Phoenix, AZ to teach second grade. While in Arizona, I started my Masters in E.S.L. at Arizona State University. Although I enjoyed working and living in Arizona, I missed Wheaton and moved back home. After moving back home, I got married, had my first daughter and spent some time at home taking care of her and working on my Masters.
I missed being in the classroom, so when the opportunity came up to be the building sub at Lincoln in the spring of 2017, I decided it was time to go back to teaching. That fall, an opportunity arose to be the PACE teacher at Wiesbrook, which I gladly accepted. That year was action-packed. I had my second daughter, attended different PDs, took a class on Gifted Learners and completed my Masters in E.S.L. I have been at Wiesbrook since, although I did take a year to teach Virtual Academy when I had my son.
