    I began my career at Wheaton Warrenville South in 1996 and currently teach Health & Responding to Emergencies. I am pleased to be the Health Curriculum Facilitator. I am an Early Intervention Study Skills Mentor, Co-sponsor the Sophomore Student Council & Volunteer as Staff Sponsor for the GSA.
     
    I am very proud of our Health curriculum. We received the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award from the Illinois Association of Physical Education, Health, Recreation and Dance in 2014. Our second Blue Ribbon was received in 2019. I was also very honored by my colleagues and named the Illinois Health Teacher of the Year in 2016.
     
    I received my Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology, Specializing in Athletic Training & Sports Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  I received my Master Degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my teaching certificate from Elmhurst College.
     
    I am married to High School sweetheart and we have two amazing children. We also have an adopted dog,Bella. Our family enjoys traveling, family dinners, outdoor activities and fitness.
