I began my career at Wheaton Warrenville South in 1996 and currently teach Health & Responding to Emergencies. I am pleased to be the Health Curriculum Facilitator. I am an Early Intervention Study Skills Mentor, Volunteer for the Cross-Curriculum Team, Volunteer weekly in Athletic Study Table & Volunteer as Staff Sponsor for the GSA.
I am very proud of our Health curriculum. We received the prestigious The Blue Ribbon Award from the Illinois Association of Physical Education, Health, Recreation and Dance in 2014. I was also very honored by my colleagues and named the Illinois Health Teacher of the Year in 2016.
I received my Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology, Specializing in Athletic Training from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my Master Degree in Exercise Physiology from The University of Illinois at Chicago. I received my teaching certificate from Elmhurst College.
I am married to High School sweetheart and have two amazing kids. We also have an adopted dog, GiGi. Our family enjoys traveling and family game nights. We are active in outdoor sports and fitness.
