Hi!

I'm thrilled to be teaching and learning with you this year at Emerson Elementary School, my mom's alma mater!

I've been teaching in District 200 for four years. This will be my tenth year teaching. I've taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade ELA. 

I grew up in various places around the midwest (Minnesota was my favorite!), graduated from high school in St. Charles, attended Illinois State University with a semester abroad in Italy, and got my master's degree from Northern Illinois University. I enjoy hiking or biking, pilates, painting, and spending time with family and friends. I love teaching and creating new ways to learn. 

I can't wait to see all the achievements our students will make this year.
