Hello! My name is Miss Tengblad. I teach 7th grade Language Arts at Edison Middle School.   I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with certifications in Secondary Social Sciences, Middle Grades Social Studies, and English Language Arts. I am very passionate about history, literature, reading, and writing. My favorite era of history to learn about is the Middle Ages.  My favorite books include Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, and Love Does by Bob Goff.

I was born and raised in Hillsboro, WI. Throughout my school career I enjoyed participating in the music and theater departments. I love to sing, and I played the flute for six years.

I am so excited to get to know the 7th graders of Edison and I am confident that this is going to be a wonderful school year!
