Mrs. Severance has been teaching at Wheaton North since 2007 with a few years off during that time to stay home with her kids.  She has taugh a variety of science courses over the years including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.  Mrs. Severance graduated from Baylor University in 2005 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  After graduating from college, she entered a teaching certification program.  After she taught for several years, she got her Master's Degree in Educational Technology from Concordia University.

Mrs. Severance currently teaches Chemistry and Physics.  She is also the sponsor for the Wheaton North Chapter of the National Honor Society.  Mrs. Severance enjoys the relationships that she is able to build with students, something she really missed during her time away from the classroom.  She also loves being able to walk alongside young minds as they grow and learn.  One of her favorite things about being at Wheaton North is just being a part of the Falcon Family.  And nothing gets her more excited then hearing the drumline walk the halls on Fridays.
