Mr. Grider joined Wheaton North High School in 2021. He spent the previous 6 years at Reavis High School in Burbank, Illinois. Thoughout his career, he has taught classes such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Science. Mr. Grider is also a soccer coach at Wheaton North. He is involved with both Boys and Girls programs. Mr. Grider graduated from Saint Joseph's College in 2015 and received a degree in Biology. Mr. Grider is really excited to begin working with the students of Wheaton North. Mr. Grider's goals are to grow students' science content and skills. Also, he wants to steward growth for students to be happy and succesful young adults. Lastly, Mr. Grider cultivates a positive classroom environment for all students. His goal is for a student centered classroom where students are the main medium of learning. Mr. Grider's role is to be a facilitator of knowledge in the student's journey to master the content.
