Mr. Solether is in his 2nd year at Wheaton North. He has previously taught at College of DuPage and Waubonsee Community College. Wes was awarded the Outstanding Part-Time Faculty Award at College of DuPage in 2016 and has spoken at the Poetry Foundation's Summer Institute for teachers in the past few years. He received his MAT from National Louis in 2021 and his MFA in Creative Writing from USF in 2013. He enjoys taking his special needs puppy to the dog park with his fiance. He currently teaches Journalism, Creative Writing and Junior English I at Wheaton North.
