I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in CUSD 200 for over 15 years.  Since receiving my bachelor's degree in Social Work from Indiana University, a master's degree from Columbia University in New York City, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University, I have worked in a variety of settings to help those impacted by various social and emotional problems. Beginning at the New York Burn Unit and in a New York City emergency room, I went on to work in the areas of hospice, police social work and higher education, prior to coming to the Wheaton-Warrenville school district. I have experience working with students from preschool through college.

I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Autism Spectrum Disorder treatment.  I am a trained certified bereavement facilitator and crisis intervention specialist.  In addition to working in the school setting, I also work at a local hospital’s emergency department.

I look forward to enhancing the positive development of the Emerson students' social, emotional and behavioral functioning!
