Hello! We do a number of fun things in the library each year: our Rebecca Caudill challenge (read 10 Caudills and have an end-of-year celebration), picking our All-School read, arranging author visits, two book fairs, and Family Literacy Night are just a few!   I also "teach" a group of 8th grade students who are library assistants one period a day as an elective. Students gain valuable work experience as well as great leadership skills by assisting in the library and working with their peers.
 
I love young adult literature and feel grateful that it is my job to promote it!
