I'm looking forward to another great year at Edison Middle School!  I've been a teacher in the district since 1999.  I started out as a 4th grade teacher at Pleasant Hill elementary, but in the fall of 2004 I transfered to Edison and I've been here ever since!  I really enjoy teaching social studies and love to help students make connections between the past and the present.

When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my wife and daughter.  This summer my wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary and my daughter got her learner's perment.  It was a very eventful summer for us!   

I also enjoy playing guitar-- I started playing back when I was an Edison student! I've tried a variety of instruments growing up, but guitar is the one I enjoyed the most and still play.

Two of my favorite things are chocolate chip cookies and, of course, Star Wars.
