Mrs. Marianne Buti
Mrs. Buti has been teaching for nine years. She completed her student teaching at Hubble Middle School under the direction of Mrs. Lisa Kurtides in 2005 and has been a part of CUSD 200 ever since. Mrs. Buti began her career teaching seventh and eighth grade language arts at Hubble and then moved to Wheaton North to teach freshman and sophomore English for a year. She then returned to Hubble to teach eighth grade language arts once again.
Mrs. Buti has a B.A. in English/literature and an M.A. in English Studies from Elmhurst College. She is an avid reader and creative writer. Some of her favorite YA novels include The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak and The Wednesday Wars by Gary D. Schmidt. She lives in Lisle with her husband, Paul, and her rambunctious English Bulldog, Willa.
