Education Background

I grew up in West Chicago, Illinois and graduated from high school in 2007.  I then attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I completed my undergraduate degree in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education.  I am a 6th Grade Resource teacher and love working with 6th graders!  I also coach 8th Grade Girls Volleyball.  In 2015 I decided to go back to school to get my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration on Autism Spectrum Disorders from Arizona State University’s online program.  I completed my Master’s in 2017.

Hobbies

In my freetime, I enjoy playing sand volleyball, riding the Peloton, crafting with my Cricut machine, reading a good book, going on bike rides with my son Owen and spending time with my husband, Sean.  My favorite place in the whole world is my parents’ lake house in Wisconsin and we have been going up there since I was nine.
