Thank you Mary Moore for running the PTA’s 2017-2018 School Supply Kit Program! Developed to simplify back-to-school shopping, School Supply Kits provided competitively priced supplies to Washington families. Back in May, families placed their orders for the specific supplies requested by teachers. In August, the ready-made kits were delivered to students' classrooms prior to the start of school. A total of 193 kits were delivered to classrooms complete with a set of personalized labels! Mary worked with our vendor on kit contents and pricing; created, distributed and collected order forms; managed responses and payments; placed the final order; and, coordinated kit delivery and distribution to classrooms. Thank you Mary for making sure a whopping 46% of our student population were well supplied on Day 1 of the new School Year!
Graciously, Mary has agreed to help us out once again as PTA’s School Supply Kit Chairperson next year.
