Hello! My name is Kim Dillon. I am grateful to be a part of the Washington School community since I began teaching in 2006. I am one of Washington's Reading Specialists and also a reading coach. Before joining the Reading Deparatment I taught 5th grade. The best part of my job is being able to work with teachers and students across all the grade levels. I also work with student council and coach Kids in Motion. Prior to teaching at Washington, I worked at Little Friends in Naperville with children and adults with Autism. I am also a certified Trainer and Fitness Instructor.
I have a B.A. in Psychology from North Central College, a M.A.T. (Masters in Teaching) and EL (English Language) license from National-Louis University. In 2016, I completed my Reading Masters at Olivet University and became a licensed Reading Specialist.
I live in Wheaton with my husband, Andy and two children, Shane and Sophia Marie.
