All-Day Kindergarten (ADK) Program

In addition to the traditional half-day Kindergarten, District 200 offers a tuition-based All-Day Kindergarten (ADK) program. Parents interested in this program will receive information at the Kindergarten Round-up. Due to space limitations, the All-Day Kindergarten (ADK) program is a first-come, first-served program. Parent requests for All-Day Kindergarten must be submitted via the Online Interest Form beginning at 8:00 a.m. March 25, 2026. *Please ensure you have delivered all required registration materials to your school's office before mid-March. Contact your school's office if you have any questions regarding this process.  If you are planning to register for ½ day kindergarten, you do not need to do anything at this time.

After the initial deposit is paid in May, tuition is due on the first day of each month from August through April.  If fees are not paid in a timely manner, the child will be switched to the 1/2 day program.

Frequently Asked All-Day Kindergarten Questions

1.  How much will it cost for my student to attend the All-Day Kindergarten Program?
The tuition cost for the All-Day Kindergarten Program is currently $2,900. All students will be required to pay the full amount unless the applicant qualifies through the District Fee Waiver Process, which could entitle the student to attend at a pro-rated fee. A fee payment plan has been developed for families who want to pay the tuition throughout the school year. After the initial deposit is paid in June, tuition is due on the first day of each month from August through April.

2.  How will the All-Day Kindergarten compare to the half-day program?
Students in both programs will receive the District 200 Core Kindergarten Curriculum. Students in the All-Day Kindergarten will have extended learning experiences that allow for a more in-depth exploration of the core curriculum.

3.  What schedule does the All-Day Kindergarten follow?
The All-Day Kindergarten Program follows the District 200 attendance calendar and traditional elementary school hours.

4.  How will students be selected?
Students will be signed up on a first-come, first-served basis. An email confirmation will be sent to parents by the end of April.
