Construction began in the summer of 2025 at Franklin and Monroe Middle Schools as a result of the $151.5 M Referendum that the community approved on Nov. 5, 2024. Construction at the two schools will continue throughout the 2025-26 school year, primarily in outdoor spaces or areas not typically accessed by students and staff. For this reason, weekly updates will not be shared as they were previously throughout the summer when construction was more heavy. Instead, we will share periodic updates as milestones are reached and new information becomes available. Updates on Edison Middle School will align with the start of its construction.

Aug. 18, 2025 Update
