Hi, I'm Celeste Sorensen!
I am an LCSW with over 27 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. I have worked in the not-for-profit arena, with schools, and in private practice. I have also provided training to teachers on dealing with bullying and have presented to parents on the topics of positive discipline, emotional intelligence, bullying prevention and building trauma-sensitive schools. I worked at Monroe Middle School and Wheaton Warrenville South High School as a school social worker and have been at Lowell since 2014.
When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 19-year-old daughter. I also love traveling, reading and cooking. I hope to meet you soon and look forward to a wonderful year at Lowell.
