PSAT | The PSAT assessments were developed by SAT to track progress toward College & Career Readiness in English, Math, and Reading,. District 200 uses this data to inform students of their progress, make school improvement decisions, and to serve as one data point for student-course placement. The district funds PSAT for students in eighth grade. For freshmen and sophomores in high school, it is a state-funded and mandated assessment. Scores are used to inform placement, provide data for school improvement work, and help families plan for the future. | 8 - 10 |
SAT Plus Writing
| The SAT measures College & Career Readiness in English, math, reading, and writing and is accepted by most colleges and universities as a part of the admissions process. The State of Illinois requires that all high school juniors take SAT. | 11 |
