Middle school curriculum review:
Under the Academic Excellence pillar of the Vision 2026 Strategic Plan, one of the six core strategies is to expand programming that prepares students for a range of post-secondary opportunities. As part of this strategy, the district has engaged in a review of middle school elective offerings to ensure they align with Career Pathways and allow for Career-Connected Learning.

High School curriculum review:
High School staff are recommending eight texts are added to their approved novel list. These books would be for AP Literature and Dual Credit Introduction to Literature.
High School Novel Recommendations 2026-27
The current AP Chemistry textbook will be outdated per the College Board next year, therefore, CUSD 200 is required to update the textbook. Staff that teach this course reviewed options and made a recommendation to the administration.
