Please welcome the following new administrators for the 2025-26 school year.

Hugh Boger
Principal, Pleasant Hill Elementary

Mr. Boger comes to CUSD 200 from Naperville Community Unit School District 203 where he has served as the Principal at Scott Elementary School, helping lead the school to a National Blue Ribbon. Mr. Boger has also served in other leadership positions in District 203 as an Assistant Principal in three different schools. He began his career in education as a fourth and fifth grade teacher before serving as a Dean of Students at Stonybrook Intermediate Academy in Indianapolis. He earned a master's degree in education from Indiana University, and his principal licensure from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Dr. Eleni Gajewski
Director for Elementary Instruction

Dr. Eleni Gajewski has 24 years experience, starting as a PreK through sixth grade teacher for 10 years in Chicago Public Schools before becoming a Reading Specialist and then a Differentiation Specialist. She later served as an assistant principal and a K–8 districtwide curriculum coordinator, where her work, including her doctoral research, focused on MTSS, gifted education, special education, and learning through authentic curricular experiences.

She earned her Doctorate from National Louis University, where she now teaches as an adjunct, and holds Master’s Degrees in Educational Leadership and Reading Specialist, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on ESL; National Board Certification, and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood from the University of Iowa.

Jennifer Gorniak
Assistant Principal, Monroe Middle School 

Jennifer Gorniak is beginning her eighth year as an educator and third year as a middle school assistant principal. She attended Indiana University - Bloomington, and began her career teaching high school social studies at Whiteland Community High School just south of Indianapolis. She also taught middle school social studies at Leman Middle School in West Chicago School District 33 and later in Shawnee Mission School District in Kansas City, KS, where she was appointed assistant principal. She earned her Masters in Educational Leadership from Aurora University.

Keira Quintero
Principal, Lowell Elementary

Keira Quintero comes to Lowell with more than a decade of school experience. Formerly, she was a principal and assistant principal in Community Consolidated School District 93. She also served as an assistant principal in West Aurora School District 129 for two years. She began her career as a music teacher for 12 years. She earned an associate’s degree in fine arts from Harper College, a bachelor’s degree in music education from Elmhurst University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from Aurora University. 

Dr. Jacqueline Rodriguez
Director of Multilingual Learners

With over 25 years of experience in education, 11 as a classroom teacher in Chicago Public Schools and 14 as a school administrator, Dr. Rodriguez has served students from first through seventh grade. A National Board Certified Teacher and bilingual in Spanish, she also served as a Bilingual Lead Teacher Coordinator.

She has a Bachelor’s from Northeastern University, followed by a Master’s in Educational Administration. She earned a second Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University and completed her doctoral studies in Educational Leadership at the University of St. Francis.

Jennifer Rutkas
Director of Special Education
Essentials Program

Jennifer Rutkas brings over 18 years of diverse educational experience to CUSD 200. She recently served as the Assistant Director of Preschool Programming and Student Service in West Chicago District 33, and prior to that was Student Services Coordinator in Yorkville District 115. Her teaching career began in Joliet 86, where she spent 10 years working with middle school special education students. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, a Master of Arts in Reading Instruction from Aurora University, and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University. Additionally, she possesses a Director of Special Education Endorsement.
