With a special focus on learning acceleration, we’ve significantly expanded our programming based on our Portrait of a Graduate, nearly quadrupled dual credit opportunities, and continued to develop our innovative Career Pathways Program all in an effort to inspire, educate, challenge and support all students to reach their highest level of learning and personal development. Now, we need to address the significant needs at three of our four middle schools: Franklin, Monroe, and Edison. Learn about the plan to enhance our middle schools at our upcoming town hall meetings. Our town halls are an opportunity to hear directly about the benefits of the $151.5 million referendum and how it will positively impact our students and community. After a short overview of the proposed plans, community members will be able to tour the schools.

Join us at one of our upcoming public engagement sessions to discuss capital improvements at three of our four middle schools! Details below: After completing much of the infrastructure work needed in our elementary and high school spaces, we now need to address the significant improvements needed at three of our four middle schools: Franklin, Monroe, and Edison. These aging 1960s buildings need to be modernized to provide safer and more secure buildings with learning spaces that support the rigorous curriculum our community expects and deserves. The exciting news is our district’s fiscal responsibility has given us a unique opportunity to modernize our middle schools while giving our taxpayers property tax relief in the bond and interest portion of the tax levy. As a community, we worked together throughout 2023 to determine a plan and nearly 1,300 community members took part in this process.
