One Edison Middle School 8th grader is bringing with him an impressive set of accomplishments from an action-packed summer. Christopher Glowacki, a passionate student in the field of robotics, spent the spring and summer competing and winning at the highest levels.
In March, Christopher’s VexIQ Robotics team earned the title of state champions, advancing to the World Championship held in Dallas in May. There, they collaborated with student teams from around the world, gaining invaluable experience in problem-solving and teamwork.
Christopher also competed in the World Robotic Olympiad, a competition on coding and engineering. This summer, he and his teammate traveled to California for the national competition, where they took First Place and earned the title of National Champions. They will head to the World Robotic Olympiad International Finals in Singapore this November. Pictured here is Christopher (at left) with his teammate at the national competition.
