Students (...and some staff) were blindfolded and asked to use other senses to describe different food items using specific descriptions to improve their memoirs writing skills!

💡Mrs. McInerney’s 8th grade science classes wrapped up their genetics unit with an Escape Room Challenge. Teams employed their genetic knowledge as well as their stellar teamwork skills in order to escape before the time ran out! Check out a few of the successful escapees! 🙌🏻🧬👏🏻

Talk about the power of relationships! Last year, Edison Band teacher Jill Carr mentored South senior Chloe West in the Intro to Education class. Chloe is currently a student at ISU with a double major in music education and performance. Mrs. Carr was able to catch up with Chloe for a moment last Saturday before she performed on the school's football field.
Monday after practice, the 8th grade Edison girls volleyball team headed to the high school to cheer on the WWSHS volleyball team as they played against Barrington.
It was a fun team building opportunity and a chance to watch an exciting volleyball match.
