The mission of our PTA is to foster parental engagement, provide educational enrichment and offer volunteer opportunities.

As the smallest elementary school in District 200, we pride ourselves in having a close-knit community of parents who are passionate about participating and engaging in our student-body’s education. The dedication of our volunteers is what makes the programs at Hawthorne successful. 

Some of the programming funded by the PTA includes a field trip for every class, a day of science enrichment for grades 1-5, the purchase of books for the school library, assemblies and a contribution to the school climbing wall.
