Career Pathways

Community Unit School District 200 is dedicated to ensuring students have opportunities to explore their career interests and graduate with the skills and experiences necessary for their post-secondary career aspirations. We are seeking committed partnerships with local businesses to provide critical, real-world learning opportunities in the following ways:

• Volunteer as a classroom guest speaker
• Participate in a potential Career Day
• Provide job shadowing opportunities
• Hire students to work for you
• Take on a student as an intern or apprentice

Career Pathways guides students in aligning their high school coursework, early college credits, workplace internship experiences, and extracurriculars with their career goals. Through this process, students acquire the information, skills and experiences needed to maximize their high school potential and to make more informed decisions about college, work, and beyond.
