Each year, the Hubble Middle School athletic department has the honor of giving athlete of the year awards to honor accomplishments and excellence across our various athletic programs. This award recognizes individuals who represented Hubble Athletics well across the whole school year and who made significant contributions to their teams’ success.
Congratulations to Clara, McKaileigh, and Liam for receiveing the award this year!

This morning, 8th graders were presented with awards to recognize excellence in each subject area. While we congratulate all 8th graders on completion of three years at Hubble, we especially congratulate those who received special honors.

Join us at one of our upcoming public engagement sessions to discuss capital improvements at three of our four middle schools! Details below:
After completing much of the infrastructure work needed in our elementary and high school spaces, we now need to address the significant improvements needed at three of our four middle schools: Franklin, Monroe, and Edison.
These aging 1960s buildings need to be modernized to provide safer and more secure buildings with learning spaces that support the rigorous curriculum our community expects and deserves.
The exciting news is our district’s fiscal responsibility has given us a unique opportunity to modernize our middle schools while giving our taxpayers property tax relief in the bond and interest portion of the tax levy.
As a community, we worked together throughout 2023 to determine a plan and nearly 1,300 community members took part in this process. Join our upcoming public engagement sessions to hear about our updated plan and provide your feedback.

Spanish Club raised funds all year in order to charter a bus to visit the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago's Pilsen Neighborhood. Students recognized themselves or their families and neighbors in the bicultural artwork. They enjoyed the neighborhood's beautiful murals on the way to lunch, and were able to visit a panadería and dulcería before their comfy ride back to school.
Thank you to our chapersones whcih included parents, custodial staff, Dr Pilkington, Ms Morez, and a former Hubble Huskie who missed a previous edition of the trip because of COVID.
