The following is a list of all the different activities, events and opportunities sponsored by the Lincoln PTA divided by level of commitment, such as activities done mostly during the day, on the evenings or weekends, and finally, activities done mostly at home with short visits to various locations. Interested in volunteering for any of the events below? Thank you to all the committee chairs and volunteers as well as the PTA members! Without all of you, we wouldn't be able to offer any of the great ideas below.

Chess Club | In-School Volunteer | Tom Dabovich, co-chair OPEN | The team participates in several competitions during the year. Volunteers assist the coach with the team during the once-a-week meetings. | Year Round |
ExploreMore Day | Event Planning | Amy Clarke Sievers, Teresa Petru, Kim Mason | Students love this day full of creativity, fun and learning, scheduled at the end of the year. Share your talents and teach a hobby or skill to a group of students. | Spring |
Holiday Market | Event Planning | Melissa Principe | Help with choosing vendor for items and setup/breakdown of market during school hours and on weekend. | Winter |
Mileage Club | In-School Volunteer | Katie Enright | Volunteer during lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hand out and scan QR codes to help children count their laps. Help hand out Shoe Token Awards | Fall/Spring |
Room Parents & Classroom Parties | In-School Volunteer | Jacqie Fingerson | Parents plan and do 3 parties throughout the year: Halloween, Winter and Valentine's. The PTA contributes money for each student to enjoy these parties. | Year Round |
Run-4-FUNds | Event Planning | Liv Wealton, Lorissa Grant | The students get donations They run a course during their PE time. Volunteers help copy and distribute information packets, set up race day course, track student laps, collect donation envelopes and give our prizes. | Fall |

Battle of the Books Club | Before School Volunteer | Robyn Ranta and Lisa Eckardt | Prepare students for Wheaton Public Library-sponsored competitions with other schools. Students and volunteers meet once a week. Competition starts in January. | Year Round |

Make a Difference Day | Event Planning | Catrina LaFave | Students bring in canned food or other needed items to be transported to a local food pantry. Chair organizes the communication, flyers and brown paper bags to send home prior to event. 5th grades "stuff the truck" on the day of. | Fall |

Pancake Breakfast | Community | Ali Kelly & Brianna Schweighardt | Join other Lincoln families on a Saturday morning for some breakfast at our school. Help is needed for tickets, serving, cooking and clean up. | Winter |
Popsicles with the Principal | Event Planning | PTA Board | Volunteers organize a back-to-school event for new and returning students to enjoy a popsicle and meet Dr. Mitchem on the playground. | Summer |
Science Olympiad | Event Planning | Cassie Meyer & Jodie Brennock | An evening of science for the students. Assist with teaching or organizing the night. Volunteers can also be small group leaders that lead groups to each activity. | Winter |

Reflections | Event Planning | Jenna MacDonald & Elizabeth Dabovich | A National PTA program inviting students to submit work is several artistic categories based on a specific theme. Entries have the opportunity to make it through district, state and nationals. | Fall |
Scholarship Representative | Community | Maria English | Wheaton-Warrenville PTA Council program in which all local PTAs contribute to a scholarship fund for outstanding District 200 high school seniors. Each PTA sends a representative to choose the participant. | Spring |
School Directory | Community | Meaghan Wadelin | The PTA publishes the annual school directory via DirectorySpot. Volunteer updates the directory each school year. | Fall |
School Supply Sales | Event Planning | Brittney McColgin | Parents can choose to purchase next year's school supplies through this service. Volunteer coordinates with supply company and parents. | Spring |
Silent Auction | Event Planning | Tracey Uvodich & co-chair OPEN | In conjunction with Trivia Night, this highly successful fundraiser auctions off various high-value items donated by businesses, community members, and Lincoln families. Help is needed to solicit donations from businesses and create themed baskets. | Winter |
Spirit Wear Sales | Fundraiser | Chris Breitenbach | Show your Lincoln Wildcat pride by purchasing spirt wear. Volunteer coordinates with spirt wear supplier for designs and communication with parents. | Fall |
Wine/Beer Pull | Fundraiser/Event Planning | OPEN, co-chair OPEN | This fundraiser typically takes place at the annual Trivia Night. Donated bottles of wine and beer are repackaged and sold to raise money for Lincoln. | Winter |
Yearbook | Community | Elizabeth Fread, Laurie Pearson | PTA publishes the annual yearbook. Volunteers contribute photos taken at various events throughout the year via TreeRing and the committee chair coordinates with TreeRing to print the yearbook using pictures uploaded to the site. | Year Round |
