Due to the freezing rain and icy road conditions, especially on side streets and untreated surfaces, all District 200 schools will engage in an e-learning day today, Jan. 23. Students in grades 1-12 will follow the e-learning schedule that can be found here. All students should login to Google Classroom by 9 a.m. to receive assignments and Google Meets links. Kindergarten and early childhood students should follow the plan that has been communicated by their teacher. Coaches and/or sponsors communicate the status of any after school or evening activities with families later today. Barring any additional travel challenges or inclement weather, school will be back in session on Wednesday, Jan. 24. With that said, we encourage you to continue monitoring e-mail, social media and the district’s family of websites for updates about the weather and its impact on our operations. We recognize that this month has brought a number of severe weather events that have forced us to engage in e-learning, which creates additional challenges for our parents/guardians, students and staff. District 200 Community, Due to the predicted weather conditions throughout the day and into the evening tomorrow night, all District 200 schools will engage in an e-learning day tomorrow, January 12. Students in grades 1-12 will follow the e-learning schedule that can be found by visiting https://bit.ly/41SdVwF. All activities will be canceled for January 12 as well. Information about the status of activities scheduled for Saturday will be communicated from the high schools tomorrow.
