District 200 Community,
Due to the predicted weather conditions throughout the day and into the evening tomorrow night, all District 200 schools will engage in an e-learning day tomorrow, January 12.
Students in grades 1-12 will follow the e-learning schedule that can be found by visiting https://bit.ly/41SdVwF. All students should login to Google Classroom by 9 a.m. to receive assignments and Google Meets links. Kindergarten students should follow the plan that has been communicated by their teacher. All activities will be canceled for January 12 as well. Information about the status of activities scheduled for Saturday will be communicated from the high schools tomorrow.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as the safety of our students, staff and community is always our top priority. Please know this decision was made in consultation and coordination with a number of our district partners.
Barring any additional travel challenges or inclement weather, school will be back in session on Tuesday, January 16. With that said, we encourage you to continue monitoring e-mail, social media and the district’s family of websites for updates about the weather and its impact on our operations.
Please reach out to your child’s teacher(s) with any questions.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jeff Schuler
Superintendent of Schools
Community Unit School District 200
