Students testing:
The ACT and PreACT spring tests are required by the state of Illinois, with the results being used for our school report card.
11th-grade students can use this as an official ACT for college admission. Directions for how to report scores to colleges.
9th and 10th-grade students can use the PreACT results as an indicator of their mastery of state standards. The PreACT also provides a predictor of how a student will score on the ACT in 11th grade
The ACT exam is a requirement for graduation.
Seniors:
Only seniors who did not take the ACT last year will be required to test on April 15th. All other seniors do not attend school on April 15th.
Other information:
Students may have a water bottle at their desk. No other food or drink is permitted. A small snack will be provided during the break.
Students will have a digital calculator embedded into their testing platform (Desmos). Students may also bring their personal calculator. A list of approved calculators can be found here.
Students may not leave the testing room early. Failure to stay for the entire testing period will result in a cancelled test and a requirement to retake the exam during a normal school day.

Be sure your student has breakfast before they come to school or eats breakfast at school.
