Creating a New Profile on Turnitin

*If you already have an account, log-in into your account and enter your CLASS ID AND PASSWORD.

Turnitin.com is the plagiarism detection software we use here at WWS. You will be required to upload some of your work to turnitin.com. The program is very user-friendly.

Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your user profile.

1. After you go to Turnitin, click on “create account.”

2. On the “Create a User Profile” page, select the “student” option for Create A New Account.

3. Enter your period’s class ID and password.

4. Enter your e-mail address.

5. Enter a password that only you will know.

6. Select a question and provide an answer (in case you forget your password).

7. Type in your first and last name.

8. Click on “I agree, create profile.”

And that’s it! Don’t forget your password. Keep it somewhere safe.
