Hawthorne Elementary School

On Wednesday, September 10th Hawthorne students will participate in a Run-A-Thon during their P.E. period. Family and friends are encouraged to attend and to cheer on all runners near the field! The Run-A-Thon helps to fund the PTA’s support of educational programs, special events, clubs and communications for Hawthorne students, families and teachers alike. This fundraiser is the primary way that the PTA will raise money during the 2025-2026 school year. The PTA spends roughly $180 per student for educational enrichment activities the school district would not otherwise be able to fund like field trips, assemblies and school community events. Every student participates and will be rewarded for their efforts with various prizes for total laps completed and funds raised. Hawthorne families are encouraged to reach out to relatives, neighbors and friends for support. No gift is too small, and donations will be accepted until midnight on Thursday, September 11.
