Talk about the power of relationships! Last year, Edison Band teacher Jill Carr mentored South senior Chloe West in the Intro to Education class. Chloe is currently a student at ISU with a double major in music education and performance. Mrs. Carr was able to catch up with Chloe for a moment last Saturday before she performed on the school's football field.
What a great message from a bulletin board at Washington Elementary! Students who attend school regularly typically demonstrate higher learning outcomes than those with poor attendance. Being present each day affords students all the important experiences that come with attending school, such as friendships, clubs, and activities. Students also learn responsibility and work ethic through consistent attendance. #YourCommunitySchools
