Franklin French students performed skits today for the class! Their skits were "restaurant/café" themed to incorporate their vocabulary and grammar from their "Bon Appetit" unit! Très bien!

Franklin Middle School hosted the IGSMA District VII, Area 2 Solo & Ensemble Contest on Feb. 24. The event invited band, orchestra, piano, and vocal students from surrounding middle schools to prepare solos and ensembles for adjudicated performances. Franklin, Edison, Monroe, Hubble, Clarendon Hills Middle School, Lisle Jr. High, Avery Coonley, and Wheaton Christian all participated this year! This was an extremely meaningful experience for students because they worked with peers toward a common goal, and received constructive and positive feedback from professional musicians. Thank you to Franklin for hosting and congratulations to all District 200 students who participated in the event! #YourCommunitySchools
